NHS Prescriptions – Registration Required
Welcome to the new NHS electronic prescription service. In this section you order an NHS prescription item or items and have them sent directly to your house free of charge.
You will now be receiving paper prescription from your GP, you may have noticed there is now barcode and numbers printed down the right hand side.
These numbers provide a unique reference that will help us receive your prescription information electronically, over the special secure NHS intranet.
This system is safe and very accurate, indeed it is more convenient for you and highly efficient for the NHS.
If you pay for prescriptions we can only dispense the items if you have a pre payment certificate. A pre payment certificate is an economical way to pay for your NHS Prescription if you have two or more items a month regularly.
You can buy the prepayment certificate online at here.

DennistheChemist.com will electronically retrieve your prescription, dispense the items and send them free of charge to your designated address.
Before the items are dispensed and sent, a Pharmacist will check the suitability of each item prescribed. This is done for the safety of the patient and a Pharmacist may need to contact the patient in order assure the safety of the prescription.
Prescription items must be sent to an address whereby the adult patient or an adult representative of the patient will have to sign in order to receive the parcel of items.
Unfortunately not all prescriptions can be sent in the post, click here for a list of items that can not be sent by post.
When your items are received please use the envelope provided to return your prescription.
