Vitamin C when taken alone, can deplete calcium stores in your body and can often be too acidic to be tolerated by people with sensitive stomachs. Calcium ascorbate combines ascorbic acid with mineral calcium and may be beneficial for people who are severely ill.

Directions

2-4g (1/2-1 level teaspoon) per day. Maximum daily dosage 4g per day, unless advised otherwise by a physician. Not suitable for children under 5 years of age.
