Broccoli sprouts contain a naturally-occurring compound called sulforaphane glucosinolate, which has, according to research, an antioxidant action which helps maintain a healthy circulatory system. They have a fresh taste and make an interesting addition to salads and other dishes.

Directions

Rinse thoroughly in fresh water before sowing and before consumption. Development of tiny fibrous roots may occur.
Per tray/jar: one tablespoon of seeds. Soaking: six hours. Temperature: 18-22°C.
Watering: twice daily.
Ready to eat: after approximately four to six days.
