By using our website to place an order for goods you confirm your agreement to our terms and conditions as set out below:




To order goods through this website you must be at least 16 years of age. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the details provided on the order form.

We keep all personal information private, and NEVER pass on your details to other companies and individuals. We are fully compliant with Data Protection law. See our Privacy Statement.

If any of our products are faulty, please inform us and then return them within 30 days of receiving them. Upon receipt of the goods, we will offer you a full refund or a replacement, along with a refund for the carriage costs. Please ensure that returns are securely packaged and sent by an insured or signed for service.


Price and Payment


The price of the goods will be the price quoted on the website at the date the order is received and will include Value Added Tax and delivery in the United Kingdom unless specified otherwise. Prices are in (£) pound Sterling only.


By placing an order, you consent to payment being charged to your credit card account, as provided on the order form.


We reserve the right, by giving you notice at any time before delivery to increase the price to reflect any extra carriage costs to us. We will never, however, charge any extra money on a credit card without seeking your permission.


Refunds or Returns


If you change your mind about an order, please contact us and return any items within a 30-day period in a re-saleable condition. Upon receipt of the goods, we will apply an immediate refund to the value of your order total less the original carriage cost. Please ensure that returns are securely packaged and sent by an insured or signed for service. We cannot be responsible for goods sent back to us that go missing in the post or that are damaged by the post and so are not in re-saleable condition.




Cancellations of orders will be accepted if the customer speaks to a representative of Dennis Gore Chemists (Ltd) before the item is dispatched, emails or SMS message will not. If a customer wishes to cancel an order already dispatched, they must either decline receipt of the order by post. Or if the item is received return the item/ items back to Dennis Gore (Chemists) Ltd. In both cases a refund amounting to the entire cost of the order less postage will be made to the customer either by merchant card processing or a cheque when the have been received by us in a re-saleable condition. The re-saleable condition will be ascertained by employees of Dennis Gore Chemists (Ltd). The items must not have been opened and any quality seals or packaging must be intact and in good condition when we receive them.

What is this?


These premises and the web site are under the personal control of an appointed pharmacist at all times that a medicine is authorised for sale to a customer.


The activity of Dennis Gore (Chemists) Ltd/ are covered by professional indemnity insurance provided by the National Pharmaceutical Association, NPA.


A request for a pharmacy only medicine P will only be met, when a pharmacist has satisfied himself that the request is clinically suitable for a customer. A questionnaire must be filled out online when a person is not present in the pharmacy premises. This questionnaire will be scrutinised by a qualified pharmacist, when the pharmacist is satisfied that the medicine is suitable for the customer then the supply may be made. The pharmacist when necessary will communicate with patient either in person, by phone, by letter or by email, in order to satisfy himself of the suitability of the sale of the medicine. Pharmacists employed by Dennis Gore (Chemists) ltd / will pay particular attention to requests made for medicines that can be abused, if we refuse to supply a medicine, please do not be annoyed we have your best interest at heart.


A patient's best interest are our priority


If the pharmacist judges that the patients best interest will be served by a face to face consultation, the patient or there representative may be asked to visits the premises at the above address or visit a local retail pharmacy. In some cases a patient may be referred to a medical practioners such as a nurse or doctor, or physiotherapist.

Prescription only medicines POM's will be supplied in accordance with a legally valid prescription or a signed order form a UK registered medical practioners.


Dennis Gore (Chemists) Ltd / and the pharmacists employed by Dennis Gore Chemists Ltd will comply with NHS regulations and contractual arrangements for internet pharmacy services that apply in the countries where requests for medicine have been made in. P medicines will only be supplied abroad if it is legally allowed in that country, and POM medicines will only be supplied to a customer abroad if a prescription is either signed by a UK registered medical practioner or counter signed by a UK registered medical practioner.


Anti Prescription-Fraud at Dennis Gore (Chemist) Ltd /


When we receive a prescription in the post we will check that the prescribers has the relevant authority to be prescribe by enquiring with the regulatory body, and then ask the prescriber to provide his signature via post or by fax.


Dennis Gore (chemist) ltd / will not participate in any agreement with a prescriber, so a customer or patient's choice of supplier is limited.


Dennis Gore (chemist) ltd / will ensure that patients are able to identify the pharmacist assuming professional responsibility for the supply of their pharmacy and prescription only medicines by identifying him/ her on the supply invoice and paperwork by way of signature name and RPSGB registration number.

Dennis Gore (chemist) ltd / will ensure that patients have consented to the pharmacy dispensing their prescription.

Dennis Gore (chemist) ltd / take all reasonable steps to ensure that there is no inappropriate direction of prescriptions from prescribers via the pharmacy.

Dennis Gore (chemist) ltd / will not enter into any arrangements that limit patient choice.


Reorder Reminder


The reorder reminder is only designed as an aid it can not replace actual care and supervision of a patient. Dennis Gore (Chemists) Ltd is not responsible should you not re-order your prescription or receive a prescription reminder and this service should not be used as the only reminder that it is nearly time for your prescription. This system is designed solely to speed up the purchasing process of the web site when reordering an item previously ordered. If you need an item please allow enough time for it to be dispensed and despatched to you designated address.


Post and Packing


We only send medicine out using a service whereby the parcel must be signed for by the recipient. All the postal services we employ have full tracking systems so that we know exactly where a parcel is from leaving us to reaching its recipient. Parcels will not be posted through letter boxes or left unattended for example in porches. Unfortunately there are items we can not deliver. Most orders will arrive with you next day but please allow five working days and please allow extra time for orders placed over the weekend and Bank Holidays.


All our delivery prices are a flat rate of £3.00 per order so you can order as many items as you like at no extra cost!

If you're not at the delivery address at the time of delivery, a card will be left for you with instructions of how to get your parcel. In the unlikely event you don't receive your order, please contact us.


You can track your order by following instructions on the email confirmation of your order.

If you do not receive your order please contact us, all parcels are traceable and insured. We will resolve the situation as quickly as possible and do our best to make sure you receive your item.




You will be responsible for complying with any legislation or regulation governing the import of goods into the country of destination and for the payment of any duties on them. We can not expert prescription items to the USA. Unfortunately we can not send liquid items internationally.


Record keeping and patient medication records


All records of internet supply of medicine are stored for three years, whilst we adhere to The Medicine Act 1968 for retaining information about supply of prescription only medicine and controlled drugs. A patients patient medication records will not be available online. A separate database will hold patient medication data and will not be made available to any network outside the pharmacy premises. Only suitably qualified staff will have access to this data and each member of staff has signed a confidentiality declaration.


Queries and complaints.


We aim to respond to e-mailed, faxed and written queries within 24–48 hours except weekends and Bank holidays. In respect of complaints, we will consider the nature of the complaint and contact you within 21 days of the complaint giving you the result of the enquiries and what we propose should be done.


As a pharmacy we comply with a strict complaints procedure in line with department of health policy.
